VHT Flameproof 1300*-2000*F Header Paint Silica Ceramic Coating...need i say more?? (not just rattle can paint) Took a new exhaust manifold i bought last summer, and covered it in the vht primer, quite a few coats, then went thru the baking process...then covered it with a few coats of the flat black, then baked it, and then finished it up with the satin clear and just got done baking it...(30 minutes @ 250* then cool for 30, then 30 minutes at 400* then cool for 30, then another 30 minutes at 600* and cooled) and this is what ive got!!! And considering this is a true ceramic high temp coating, i wonder if it is gonna keep heat down, and if it is gonna be comparable to what ATS or HTT coats theirs in??? let me know if you guys take an interest in this...the only thing i wish i had was a shop, so i couldve cleaned it up with a sanding wheel, to pull off the casting numbers, and the cast bumps and such...head wil be back on saturday, and we'll see how the primer and coating holds up!!

You SO lets you bake that inside the house hold Oven, lucky. Looks really nice, would be interested to hear how it preforms.

 

I got both hot housings and my hot pipe ceramic coated too. they guarrantee it for life to 2000* it better keep my under hood temps down, thats all I'm hoping for.
