valve chatter

How often do I need to adjust my valves? I was told with the 1998 and 1999 this is a common problem, should I take it to someone to get it fixed or can I do it myself? thanks Lance

I've adjusted valves on 24valve trucks with 150k+ miles on them and the clearance were still within spec.

I had to adjust mine at 80K. I wrote a good tech article for doing a 24V adjustment (with pictures) .
