upgrading a 2 wheel drive rear to a posi

Is there a difference in the rear housings that would keep you from up grading? Has anyone done this before? If so, where can you find the posi/limited slip units?
Thanks

no differance in the housings

expect to pay 350-450 for a posi unit, 200-300 for the install.
i think i would rather have a detroit locker than a posi (500$) but to each his own
dont let someone talk you into a lock rite (250$) it wont hold up to the cummins torque

if you want to change your rear end ratio now is the time to do it.
would opnly cost another 150$
