Question Uneven Idle?

Recently I have noticed that when my truck idles it sometimes isnt even. This is when the engine is cold but it may happen too wehn it's warm I only remember it when its cold though. Anyway its not like uneven because the grid heaters kick on its just like up and down by a little bit. I notice this uneveness the most though when I am driving and crusing along at about 30 mph and it seems like the truck is being given little burts of fuel u know. I don't really know how to explain it other than it doesnt feel normal and I just want to make sure its not bad. Again this is usually when its cold out. Is this normal or is my lift pump bad? I haven't had a chance to hook up the Fuel Pressure gauge yet but I will ASAP. Thanks

The FP gauge should help diagnose your problem, so do get us the psi ASAP.
