i have a pump just like that in my garage, it works just fine but leaks at the bottom.....
Could you see any way of fixing that pump? Could you put seal all or something on it to stop it from leaking? My pump is still good to but i wouldnt mind to use it as a spare.

i didn't even try , i just put it on the shelf for a spare . but i most likely will never use it.... the campaign pumps are too cheap ( i have 2 new ones for spares)

Hey i left the stock lp where it is and added a 7psi cater pusher from summit (higher gph) on the frame in front of the pump with 3/8th line to the filter. It was awesome at first but over the last year i've had to replace the stock psi pump once and it keeps going down in pressure steadily over time... I'd look for something more permanent rather than a cheap band-aid. When I first did it the pressures were 21 idle or so, and wouldnt go below i think 13 or 14 WOT but now its more like 16 idle and 6 WOT. so whatever haha hope this helps your decision more!

For the price I would just get the Procomp version of the Holley pump and put it on the framerail. This is what I did and I have 27psi at idle and 15-16 at WOT.

i've been looking at the procomp black....what would on of them or a holley blue with a vulcan draw straw and 1/2" to the vp do?? should be 15psi at idle then what??????


mabey a procomp red and black??????

I went with two carters .... one at the stock location and one at the frame .............. JUNK! I will never buy another Carter. From now on, Holley for me!

i am currently useing 2 7 psi carters on the frame no problems for 2 years

i had the same set up......JUNK it ran anywhere from 10psi at idle to 22psi at a idle and at times would drop to 1and 2psi at wot would not recomend that set up!!!!!! they were both brand new campagin pumps. that makes 4 in a little over a year.


what kinda psi ya runnin with 2 holley red's? and do yall think one blue or the procomp black would be enough by it's self?
