my 2001 2500 automatic shakes or purges i guess when it starts to shift from 2nd to 3rd all the rest of the gears work fine, if anyone knows what might be going on i would appreciate it, i have changed the trans filter about 50 miles back and the level is fine.

 

Do you have any kind of powe4rr chip in it? Whether or not you do it sounds like the torque converter slipping instead of looking up. More likely if you have too much power and did not put in triple plate converter.

 

na i dont have any real power adder the only thing i have is one of those cheap deals off of ebay that plays with the AIT sensor or what ever but i dont think it really does anything, i was thinking the transmission was wearing out but i hope not.
