Transmission Shift Problems...Again!

I change my batteries every 3 years and that stopped my shifting problem. Tried all the above fixes and none worked . Ran a battery test at my friends shop and one battery was 1.5 volts lower than the other . Swapped them both and fixed the problem for good .

I'll have to try that also. My batteries are 10 years old according to the sticker on them. I'm still having issues like my dim headlights flickering once in a while and my new stereo having read errors on the USB stick.
I was going to wait until Fall but you talked me into getting new batteries soon.
I have always said, "any more than 5 years and you are on good graces". Having 2 batteries in parallel makes it even more critical.
Thanks for the reply,

Last time I changed them I changed my stock terminals over to those military style , mine were crumbling away and I was having to use larger washers to get a good squeeze .

still have electrical problems
I changed the batteries yesterday. Still shifts smooth as could be but my headlights still flicker on dim once in a while and my stereo still misreads on the USB occasionally.
I will look for a forum on electrical issues.
Thanks
