transfer case seal leaking

tailshaft seal leaking on 2001 3500 4x4 so called dealer to see how much to replace. they tell me that the seal doesn't have a part number, can only buy the complete case for $400.00 plus. anybody know any different? these are the same dealers that told me there was no part number for the overflow valve.

The seal part number is on the outer metal lip of the seal and its probly the heavy duty model so tell the parts guy that, I put one in the other day and they gave me the lite duty seal which is much smaller
