I'm in the process of converting my truck to a NV5600/NV241HD tranny/t-case.

I have a question for any of you with this combination. Does your t-case have a pickup for the speedometer like an older truck??

I could have swore my buddies 02 3500 HO/5600/NV241HD had it, but the one I recieved on the brown truck today didn't. His also has the PTO cover, so I know it is an HD version.

Any help from other owners...did they change the case at some point?

I know the '02 FSM says that the speedometer runs off the vehicle speed sensor on the rear axle.

 

I've since rechecked my buddies 02...and I was wrong.

Sounds like I need to call them back and tell them I screwed up.
