Tranny Problem not sure what it is
Tranny Problem not sure what it is
This problem started to occur few weeks ago now its starting to get on my nerves. At times if i'm at a dead stop at a red light and getting ready to accelerate it felt very sluggish and it also felt like if my e-brake was on, then I would hear a clunk and it started to drive again i'm not sure whats causing it. I also had my tranny service about 2 days ago and I still have the same problem. Could this be a possibility that I need to isolate the TPS wire ?
Thanks in advance,
Doombugie

The biggest thing is to properly check the fluid level. With the truck idling and up to temperature, park on level ground and engage the e-brake. Shift from D to R several times and then leave in N. Check fluid level with truck running. If it's low it will act strangely and shift weird. Yeah, you have the 235HP SO, too. Also check the battery connections and grounds as that will mess up the tranny computer and give you grief....
