how much power can a 47re handle with just a triple disk converter and a valve body. I am not having any issues with it holding the power right now, but i was curious if i could do some 100 hp injectors and be ok, or should i get a fully built tranny first?

 

Its capable of holding decent HP but abuse and towing heavy are another situation. I'm not sure of the more accurate numbers you're wanting but getting a good torque convertor, new valve body, running a good cooler, and keeping the bands tight is about all I know you can do to keep that tranny happy.

With bigger injector you will need a bigger turbo.
The weak links with the trans are the low pressure with a stock VB. You solved that.
Next is the weak stock converter, you solved that one too.
I NEVER recommend a 3 disc converter with the stock input shaft, so be warned.
