my 99 dodge has been shifting back and forth from 3rd and 4th gears around 45mph,i talked with matt at ats diese lhe sent me a diagram on how to bypass the sensor it didnt work,any other ideas,how much is a new tpps?any help appreciated.

Could it just be the torque converter unlocking and locking repeatedly? It's a common problem to have electrical interference cause that.

 

got it fixed,matt at ats diesel gave me step by step instructions,how to bypass the ecm from apps to pcm,works awesome,its called the 4th gear fix if anyone has a simalar prob facebook matt at ats diesel.

 

Get the $20 noise limiter coil. Finally fixed mine after 11 years and 450K.
