Need help w/fuel issue
After a 40 degree night, the wife went to start her 02 Ram 3500. The lift pump spun up and the low fuel pressure light went out. The truck sputtered and died. Repeated attempts to start were unsuccessful. The lift pump is pumping. No codes thrown. I was able to start the truck later in the day, after cracking the water drain with the lift pump running. After sitting for several hours, the problem returned. The manifold heater is working properly. It sounds like fuel starvation. No fuel leaks are observed. Could the fuel in the system be draining back into the tank?
