I got my 180* t-stat from Cummins through a local big rig shop. It's Cummins P/N: 3967195
Check this link for some t-stat talk. Also, now a year later after the 180* install everything is going good, and the radiator is still clean

Ditto!
The cummins 180* T-stat is spectacular. It illiminates any concerns about coolant overheating... either from towing heavy, from added HP...... or both

I believe they were $29.97 at Cummins Southern Plains last week. I'd have to dig up my receipt to check.

When mine stuck, I went to French-Ellison Truck center (local Cummins warranty sta for B engines) and it was ~$28 from their parts system... Unfortunately they didnt have one in stock at the time and it would be a day or two to arrive.. I needed my truck back in operation NOW!...
Sadly, I limped over to the Dodge dealer and got the "superceded"(i e, too cold) 160degree stat for a mere $69.00 less gaskets!!! Came in a Cummins box with DC labels splattered all over the Cummins PN.
They didn't even Kiss me!!!
