Best thing you can do is give one of them a call and let them know what's done, what's going to get done, and how you use it. From there either should be able to give you a realistic idea of what you need.

i agree, i have had good experiance on a 48RE for my fathers truck from dave goerend. i know he will tell you what you need and were the best place (if not his) to get it is. just make sure he knows what your truck has/is going to have on it

They all use the same components more or less, and they're all great builders. Pick the one that you think is the best bargain be it price, location, warranty, smooth-talking abilities, etc...

Best bet is to find whoever is closest to you and buy from that person.

p.s. last time I checked the search function is still working and I know this topic has been covered literally hundreds if not thousands of times.

I was going to go with HTS but changed my mind to Goerend. I think you cant go worng with any of them.

Look at this. https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=190856

mid atlantic diesel is an approved installer for Goerend, since you are in MD that would help out I would imagine....... I have only one dealing with Goerend and it is enough to make me recommend them to anyone. Give each of the builders a call, then decide which one sounds like he is giving you a fair deal, then move on to the installers near you.
