Re:Still no fix

Do you think you MIGHT be overloading the fuel? Maybe not I know if I overload the fuel too much on the PSD it will stutter.

Re:Still no fix

Does your fueling box have the boost fooler hooked up to the map sensor? If so remove the boost fooler portion and hook it back up to stock. Remove the boost elbow/turnbuckle so boost levels will not exceed EOM specs. See if that cures you studdering. Leave the fuel box hooked up to the pump still.

I have been working on a simular problem as yours and wonder if the overboost is causing the pump to eratically defuel.

Just an Idea that I have not proven yet.

Mac1 that accuatly makes sense ( well to me anyway ) To much air and not enough fuel? Your right at that point on the pedal that your flowing more air than fuel. You press the pedal and you get more fuel to go with more boost. Same if you let off of it, no fuel or air, it goes back to normal. I'm I making sense to anyone? My does the shuttering thing as well, its hard to tell unless I'm towing something.

My 2c
Kimrey

Sounds like an impending pump failure

I'm certainly no expert, but those symptoms sound sort of like what I had early on in my injection pump failure. Eventually, it just won't go under a load unless you basically floor it. Strange, but once it worked up a good head of steam, it would run OK. Problem was, I couldn't run around at 70 MPH everywhere I went!

Keep an eye on that, too.

Re:Still no fix

Joel, how long did the symptoms last before the inj pump failed? My truck has been doing it for a year and a half and at least 30,000 miles.

300,000+ miles. You've got to expect SOMETHING to give.
