Well my steering box is shot and I'm in the market for a new one. I replaced my old 3/4 ton box last summer with a 1 ton box and this sucker is already worn out. Now my question is where is the best place to pick up a new one? I called PSC yesterday and they told me they won't have any more boxes for my year truck for 2 weeks. Should I just wait 2 weeks and get theirs or is there another company that sells aftermarket steering boxes that are worth a crap? I'm not going back to O'Reilys and getting one of there crappy boxes again. I need something that works and works RIGHT. Any help or input is appreciated.

 

Get a DSS steering brace for whatever box you get and that will help it live. Eric

 

I'd wait for the psc. I've talked to those guys before and everything I've read or heard about them is positive. I have a feeling I'm going to be sending those guys some money in the near future..

Oh yeah, I second the DSS recomendation.
