Starter woes
I know some time ago there was a thread about starter problems and a fix.
My starter is acting up intermittently some times I have to hit it two times to get it to engage and some times it keeps rolling after the engine fires.
Thanks

Sounds like the starter contacts. You can get a set here: http://www.fostertruck.com/dodge/default.htm

Check your local starter shops. I got my contacts for $5 on a Saturday morning from a small starter shop in my town. They were even the oversized contacts...couldn't believe it. Easy fix for a big problem.

I've not torn apart one of these starters yet, are the clips on a slider with a spring backing? If so, one may have been sticking in position or near position.
