Spring Maintenance

I'm going to pull the radiator and flush it, degrease it etc, relocate the puke bottle, replace upper and lower rad hoses and put in new fluid, no need for a thermostat as this one seems to be working just fine. Just over 100k on I'm guessing stock everything, fluid hoses etc.

Question is normal antifreeze 50/50 mix? How many gallons? Chain parts store hoses fine? Anything going to throw me for a loop removing the rad?

Thanks everyone. Truck in sig.

Check intercooler boots for wear. Easier to replace with the radiator out.

Back flush the heater core.

What a pain in the rear this has been. 2 simple bolts and the rad will come out. But there are 100 other bolts, batteries and trays to remove, drivers fender splash guard etc. Took it to the spray wash, didn't look too dirty but wow the junk that came out was impressive. The po didn't want to deal with the puke bottle so he drilled 4 holes in the jar and zip tied it in place. Now I get to relocate that as well. Was going to any way but...

Now where can I get the lower intercooler boots from on a Sunday. Advance has generic boots that might fit but they only want 10 dollars so I can't imagine they are any good.
