Question speedo not working right, and ABS + Brake warning

My speedometer started NOT working until the truck gets up to about 30 MPH, then it jumps up. Coming down from speeds higher than 30, it stops working about 27 or so, and the odometer stops working at this point as well.

The "ABS" light stays illuminated on the instrument panel.

The "BRAKE" light satys illuminated on the instrument panel.

All of this happened all at once.

Anyone have any clues? I checked some of the fuses, but all seem good.

Mine did this and it was the sender on the rear axle. Don't remember exact cost but it wasn't very expensive to fix. Cost more for the dealer to diagnose and replace it that the part itself.

Yep a standard item to go bad. Just get the sensor from a dealer and takes at least 15 minutes to put it in. It is on top of the rear axle in the center.

Drain and clean out your rear diff too. They collect a lot of metal particles on them and that usually messes them up. I have had to clean lots and they work fine after cleaning.
