south bend DD 3250????

just finished installing this clutch last night. how long or what do i need to do for beak it in. how long before i can get on it hard and launch?

I'm no guru by any means, but I was told 500 miles in town driving for break-in period.

ok so just keep it low boost and such for the first part of its life

I was told the same, but a little ways in mine got a "grinding" kind of feeling when the clutch was slipping, not when in or out. After that SB said I could sit on level ground, let the clutch just begin to catch in 2nd, and then just blip the throttle a little. This is supposed to clean out any loose materials between the plates, that was causing my noise.
