Went to the sniffer today with all completely stock...they connected a hose fitting to the tailpipe that went to the sniffer and they also did the fuelcap test. My tailpipe has a bologna cut tailpipe end and they had a little difficulty getting a seal but managed to get a test...under other circumstances they might've been difficult.
When the kid got his mirror to look for a cat. I reminded him it was a 2001 but he looked anyway(???). They didn't say anything about the big exhaust either and gave me a customer satisfaction card but I'm not going to send it out incase they use it against someone they might sit on or mistreat (we've had good feedback with the other diesel owners an' here's proof....).
Blowed a .5% against a 10%max. but it was clean looking before I got there so I kinda expected it. If I had a 12 valve with a little idle smoke, I'd worry.
I wish I'd remembered to ask about a stack.
