I have a 2002 CTD H.O. and someone was telling that it might have a factory shutdown timer. Does anyone know?

 

Not to my knowledge.

 

I never heard of a factory timer either.

My only experience with a timer was from HKS race products for my old 3rd generation mazda RX-7. It was called a "turbo-timer". Worked flawlessly. Great convenience when you drove it hard then just wanted to jump out of car when you got to your destination. It ran for a predetermined time you had set 5 min, 3 min, 1 min and 30 sec. You took key out and it ran its cycle.

There are guys on this website that either have made their own or you can most likely find an aftermarket brand.

 

You should have the factory Cold Start-Fast Idle program, but to my knowledge there has never been a factory Shut Down timer program.
