Should I change to Vulcan??
Should I change to Vulcan??
I have a stock 2000 3500 4x4 and I am thinking of putting the vulcan pusher system on. The mechanical part of it doesn't bother me at all to do. I am just wondering what pump to get with the Vulcan system. Or, does the pusher system come with a pump?? I saw somewhere on here that they had a pump for $29 or something like that. $115 for the pusher system and $30 for the pump, that's not bad.
Thanks in advance for the help....

I had alot of trouble with campaign pumps and finally went with walbro 392. It's been excellent so far. The best way to approach a lift pump system is do your research and decide what makes you comfortable. Opening up the restrictions in the stock system in my opinion is important and the vulcan system is very good. Good luck.

yup thats one of the reasons i did it, easy to change the LP or change to a different style pump and didnt break the bank
I second what Marine and Bnold said. I have the Vulcan setup with the stock LP relocated and I can't pull it below 12...Once this pump is dead I'll replace it with a Holley or might get a custom FASS setup..But for the money you can't beat it..
I third what you guys say. With my programmer on stage three, I cant pull it under twelve psi with the vulcan kit. And when my campaign pump dies I will also just replace it with somthing better, like a FASS II or a holley blue. Im juat going to be curious what my FP will be at WOT when I get my Edge comp! I have stock injectors so it should be OK.
i agree with the other guys go with the vulcan big line kit and relocate your stock lp till it dies then i would suggest getting the walbro 392 i have loved it since installing it on my truck i have it set at 28 psi at idle and i can't get it to drop below 20 at wot with the juice on level 5 and the ez on 3. i have to say you feel a difference while driving highway speeds with the bigline kit much smoother drive
Thanks for all the replies to everyone. I appreciate the info you have given. I think I will order the Vulcan and relocate for now. It's not that hard to relocate the stock LP is it?? Did any of you have to build a bracket or did you just use the one in the kit??
Thanks again,
Thanks again,
