Angry should have just quit for the day

Last week i got my transmission worked on to fix a bad tc and a bad oil pump stator. I decided that i should just keep going and get every thing fixed and up to snuff before i get busy with custom fertilizing and applicating, that i do at the elevator i work at, when theres not enough time to get decent sleep let alone work on your own stuff. So i got a new set of shocks to slap on since one was leaking and i figured 85000 miles should be about long enough for the factory shocks. I got them on today after work, then i noticed it was time for new brake pads so i go and get a full set of those and end up with the wrong ones for the front axle, and find the FL brake hose is about to explode. Stores closed so i move to the back, get to the right rear and find i have a wheel seal out. So now i have the front left and right rear tires off and brake calipers out and its in the middle of my shop where i work, figure no big deal jack the front and back up and push it off to the side. Weve done it hundreds of times. Well as i went over to grab the jack stand to set the front axle back down i heard that distinct sound of a floor jack popping out of place followed by the sound of an oil pan being crushed like a pop can when said jack decided to stop in about the most destructive spot it could have. So now i can add a new oil pan and possibly oil pickup to my evergrowing list of expenses for the week. I guess the one thing about it is its with in 100 miles of oil change time so i wont be out any oil cost wise. And more importantly i guess it didnt fall on any one.

Sorry for the semi pointless rambling just had to get that all out and relax been a long expensive day. the brake job was supposed to be the last thing i needed for a while.

I know that feeling. Some days you think to yourself. I should have just stayed in bed.

When things like that happen to me, I think it must be for a good reason. Like maybe I wasn't supposed to be on the Interstate on a particular day at a particular time. But then, I'm just a Pollyanna......

lol the amount of times that has happened to me.

one time decided to change out rear pads and rotors in my drive way. jack it up. little do i realise my jack wont go high enough to lift the back of the truck. get the bottle jack out. lift her up put stands underneith. clouds come in. check the weather report. still have an hour to do the pads and rotors. no problem shouldn't take me longer than 30 minutres at this point with the tires off. sure enough 5 minutes in it start pouring. im soaked so i said screw it i'll finish it. try to push the caliper pistons in. nope no luck both rears seized solid. great. so im soaking wet try to force these pistons back in with a giant c clamp. finally get them in. last one hand slips great now i sliced my hand open. get up quickly in pain smack my head really hard off the fender. start seeing stars. stumble inside the house with a very bad head ache and a lump the size of a base ball on the back of my head.

wait ten minutes stops raining. go back out tighten everything up put the wheels back on. can't find my bottle jack. my brother took it. great. put a block of wood under the other jack and manged to get the truck back on the ground. than called a tow truck and brought it to the dealer.

best part of it i got 2 rear calipers done under warranty.
