I got a Scangauge 2 off Craigslist awhile back for 50 bucks and it was to good of a deal to pass up. The main reason I got it is for the MPG which I've read is the most accurate way other then doing it by hand. I usually drive on the highway with my Edge set of 4x1 and cruise set around 65 mph and get around 21 MPG. I also can set my Edge on 6x5 and cruise about 75 and get around 23 MPG with just keeping speed with the throttle. Does this make sense she the truck is working easier with more power and I can keep it smooth instead of having the cruise control regulate the throttle.
