I have two codes that my 1998.5 Dodge RAM 2500 is giving me:

P1693: Diagnostic trouble detected in Power-train control module / companion module.


P0237: Turbocharger / Supercharger Boost sensor A circuit low. (I receive this code twice, but on the second one my reader says PENDING).

My reader wont let me clear these two codes, I've also tried removing the battery cable for a hour which didn't work.

I'm looking for info about what these codes mean and why it won't let me clear them from the computer.

My truck will shift fine until I get it over 70Mph, but then will not downshift until I turn off the engine, and then it shifts fine.

Any help ideas would be appreciated.
