Ok I have been through everything that I know of to fix my rough idle. The only thing that I havent done is get a re-flash done on my ECM. I was just thinking maby somebody has some other ideas...

When you say rough idle, how rough?

Does it sit there idling and have a miss or a "burp" once and awhile? Does it idle like a big cammed gas motor?

The Cummins in these trucks don't idle like a Cadillac. Just about everyone I know of has the "burp"

Give us a few details, it's not necessarily the VP.

Its not bad at all...not like a big cam 454 kinda thing just a small change in rythem.. I understand the cummins is a rough running motor. I am a student at TSTC and I am going for a Diesel equipment tech/ heavy truck specialization degree. I let my instructor listen to it and he said he couldnt tell me what it is but he agrees something isnt right...
