hey guys, quick question. im changing out my front brakes. first time to do it on my truck myself. i got the caliper off, and im stuck. how do yall get the old pads off, and put the new ones in. thanks

you have to slide the pads out of that holder thing sideways. The clips kinda make it hard to do. Or if you unbolt that thing that hold them in with the two bolt they'll be easier to get out. Sorry for not being very technical.

 

Not to sound too harsh, but if you cant get the pads off you should NOT be doing this by yourself. at least get a manual it will have step by step instructions. Brakes are something that are easy to do but do it wrong and someone can be killed!

 

nevermind yall, took a little longer look at my cummins manual, and figured it out. just got in rush and the millers were gettin in the way. only took me about 30 min total to get both sides done.
