replaced speed sensor, now....

Question replaced speed sensor, now....

Abs light and e brake light were staying on all the time, brakes would lock every now and then and the speedo would jump around, replaced the speed sensor on the rear end and now when you turn on the key all the lights flash and you can here a ticking inside for about a minute and a half then symptoms return like before.....need help quick on edit its a 98.5 dually 5 spd

i think u have to set the correct air gap between the sensor and the tone ring.make sure the sensor is close enough to the tone ring to pick up the signal.

No gapping required. Time for a dealer visit as the DRB is needed to access the ABS module.

Do you have 4 wheel ABS?

Do the lights stay out until you start driving and then come on at a certain speed?
