Replaced injection pump and now cruise control won't work

Got done changing out the vp44 and all went well, went for a test drive and the cruise light would come on in the dash but does not work. Any ideas??? It worked fine before.

unplug and replug the apps and vp connections.

check all the vacuum connections , the main vacuum line from the vacuum pump is directly below the vp44 and is probably disconnected.......it happened to me........
