rear end
What size rear end do i have in a 1999 dodge 2500 4x4 diesel. I think its either a 8 1/4 8 1/2 or 8 3/4??

Should be a Dana 70 behind an automatic - 10.5"

Yup! With the earlier, and more expensive, Dana Power Lok LSD, if you have an LSD.
Excellent rear end. Can handle just about anything you throw at it...short of competitive sled pulling.
