Anyone know where I can buy the Rear Back Plate for an 02 Ram 2500 4X4? The dealer wants over $300.00 each for them.

 

Do you have the same problem I have?? I got deep gouges where the shoes ride and it looks like my brakes are hanging up...Never priced out new ones yet...I took a sanding tool and got rid of the gouges...Will see if that helps..

Opps...,you should have disk brakes rear...Whats wrong with the backing plates??

 

Rusted away, dealer or ******* in this case wants $350 each. I can buy a whole 8 ft box side for less

 

Have you tried some of the third party parts places???Napa,Auto Valve,etc?

Hopefully a scap yard has a set...The dealer is nuts with their prices..

 

It search junk yards in the Southwest online. Very little rust and lots of good parts.

Well to end this thread I could not find a junk yard that wanted to sell me backing plates. A whole axle no problem. Napa or any aftermarket supplier does not exist. I ended up getting them from a place in Upstate NY for $140 each plus shipping. OEM Mopar parts. Place is called Moparparts.com or something like that. Good guys to deal with as well.
