reading code P1688
I reinstalled a banks powerpack back into my 99 dodge. Tapped the wire and piggy back the to EZ. Now truck won't start. Turns over fine. Ran fine before I reinstalled the Banks. Pump is pumping. Plenty of fuel to the filter. Only noticed a little fuel in back 3 injectors. Showing code P1688. Need help..... Is it time for another Vp44

I looked up the code P1688 Internal Fuel Injection Pump Controller Failure , did you tap the right wire? Not sure what you meant by "piggy back the to EZ" but if you meant you stacked the EZ with the ottomind i wouldn't because they are both timing boxes.

haven't ran the stack in awhile but truck was set up like that 2 yrs ago. Only been running the EZ for awhile now. Just was curious to see what the ottomind had left. Gut feeling told me to trash it. Now about the wire I'm not 100% positive if it was the right one. SO does this mean a new vp44

I'm not sure if thats one of the vp death codes, someone will chime in that has dealt with it. You should be able to look up the install manual online for the ottomind, if i remember right its the wire closest to the block, maybe tapping the wrong one might send that code, only guessing. Good Luck
