Re-calibrating Speedometer for 35"s

Now that I have 35" tires mounted, how do I re-calibrate the speedometer? Is it something that has to be done by a shop, or is there something I can buy and do it myself?

I know Superlift sells an item to do this for chevys. Is there something comperable for Dodge Rams?

Superlift Tru-Speed should do the trick...I need to have mine done, but I love telling the cops I had the speedo set right on the limit.

hmmmmmm. I thought that was for Chevys. Do they make one for Dodges also? Or is it the same one?

Programmers(superchips), jet accuspeed, yellow box @ blackrobotics.com, and superlift are the options for the dodges. I think the dealer can re-calibrate your speedo also. But only up to a 315 tire i think.

dealer can do it (get the revs per mile from the tire mfg website, cause that's how it's input. tell them to look in the axle/diff area). the Smarty allows you to adjust for tire size yourself.
i don't have specific part numbers, but two years ago Superlift told me they had a unit that would work on the Dodge.

I had the Truespeed until I got the Smarty.
It worked great for almost 4 years.

I don't want to say it's for sale in the classifieds, cause that would be wrong.

edit: well, it used to be in the classifieds, don't know what happened to it.
Guess I'll put it back in.
