Radiator Leak
Good afternoon.
A couple of days ago I observed a small amount of coolant on the driveway. This was investigated and found the leak coming from high up on the drivers side of the radiator.
I am thinking about replacing the radiator and am wondering what problems I could possibly run into doing this.

Its pretty easy. I good quality 1/4in ratchet will help out alot. With radiator replacement I would reccomend checking all hoses, clamps, and thermostat. If you have any doubts on the condition of these parts replace them.
Other than that Once the system is drained, with both hoses off there are only 2 bolts on the top that hold it in place, once those are out tilt the radiator back about an inch and it will pull straight up. Its always nice to have someone else helping when dropping a new radiator in to prevent bent fins or damage.
Just a note: if you replace the thermostat go with a Cummins part. I have seen too many of the other brand fail in our trucks....
