Problem Wuth Turbo

im having a problem with the turbo when im crusing it trys to cut off i push in clutch rev the engine turbo works again could this be a leak in the hose causing it to suck air is turbo dirty its a 99 dodge 3500 24valve cummins any ideals?

What makes you think it is a turbo problem?
Are you saying the engine loses power, until you disengage the clutch and rev it up?

Find all seven grounds and sand them, reconnect, then paint over.
Borrow the code reader at auto zone and see what comes up.

The amount of boost you see depends on the load on the engine. The turbo is strictly mechanical. Exhaust flow determines the drive pressure which, in turn, controls boost pressure. If the fuel system is okay, then you are probably just seeing the effects of driving slightly down hill.

It could be deadpedalling. Definitely check the codes and see what pops up.
