Premium diesel?
Premium diesel?
The local Texaco changed their sign to read 'Premium Diesel'. Is there such a thing? It sounds like a cheep way to justify paying more for diesel than regular unlead!
Definition of "Premium Diesel"

As you read, keep in mind that it only has to conform to 2 out of 5
(Dealer's choice) of those requirements to be considered as "Premium"

All the Texacos 'round here sell "Premium" diesel. It's just 45 cetane as opposed to regular 40 cetane.
Ive never been able to justify buying the stuff given the prices they charge though....

I will admit I have seen and felt a difference between the 40 cetane, and 45 cetane fuels.
