Power Steering Being Eaten

I have an 01 HO 6 speed with 180,000 that has decided that Power steering units taste Good. I'm on #3 in 10,000 miles. Any input?? WE flushed the system and replaced the hoses on the last one. Could the cooler be Fouled??

What is actually failing? Being eaten is a broad statement.

Try this simple test:
start truck, turn truck off, step on brake , how many times do you have assist until the pedal gets hard?
If the brakes get hard instantly, with no assist you would have a bad hydroboost.
What kind of power steering fluid are you using? dextron or power steering fluid?
