Pulling a 3000# trailer my truck at half throttle 1800rpms 63 mph up hill. Full throttle makes no difference. Turbo did kick in and you could hear and feel the increase in power. But now nothing changes from half throttle to the floor. Any one fixed this problem yet?

Yeah. With an EZ or Raptor you can fix it. Sounds like you are expecting acceleration. Don't know how big the hills are but for the truck to hold it's own is a pretty substantial feat. Tell us about your truck so we can attempt to answer your question.<br><br>Auto or stick, gear ratio, ETC/ETH and any mods.

MY truck is a 1999 dodge 2500 all stock, the hills were not very steep at all. Last year I went through them on cruise control with this same truck. Fuel filter was changed 500 miles back. I have an auto trans. 355 gear cummins turbo<br>motor.

You need to get your fuel pressure checked. Power loss while towing usually points to a dead lift pump, or an injection pump on it's way out...

Add to Briar's list, from most likely to least:<br><br>1) Loose/leaking intercooler boots<br>2) Intercooler tank cracked where it joins to the fins<br>3) Bad MAP sensor<br>4) IAT sensor bad or dirty<br><br>Rod

I'm going to try and clean my IAT sensor in a little while. Don't think it needs it but a little extra piece of mind. That and I'm tired of not having anything to do on the truck. Maybe I should have gotten a gasser. You know. So that way I could be changing spark plugs, messing with distributors, plug wires and boots, changing oil every 3000 miles instead of 5 or 6000. On second thought, maybe not.
