PO 230 Code

Not sure about this code any help would be nice truck runs fine cares 7 to 8 psi wot 10 at idle no fass pump stock lift pump with holley hp 150 inline with it

Lift pump pressure code. One of codes than may indicate a impeding VP44 failure. You did say LP maintains 7 PSI..... You are forewarned.

The P0230 code can be set if the ECM detects an out-of-range lift pump current. Usually this happens if the lift pump becomes disconnected and the ECM sees zero current. It may also be set if too much current is being drawn by the lift pump. I see that you are running 2 lift pumps. The correct way to wire them is to use a relay that is triggered from the stock lift pump harness. This will satisfy the ECM current monitoring and not set the code. Some people have not used the harness but had to insert a 500 ohm resistor in the lift pump harness connector to avoid the code.
