I could smell gear lube near the rear of my truck yesterday, I drove the truck 30 more miles and the smell got bad. I could see a little smoke coming from the left rear. Set my hand on the rear tire to bend over to see the axle and the tire is warm. 60 and raining here. I grabbed the rim and the rim is so hot I cant keep ahold of it.

Bad bearing/axle/seal?

I need to get back on the road asap. Thanks for your help.
