piston to cylinder bore clearance

I am trying to figure out how much piston to cylinder bore clearance i should have. I have found conflicting info so i was wondering if anyone has a cummins manual or something trustworthy. It is a 2002 block which i am putting in a 99 due to a cracked 53 block.

Thanks for the help.

From the 2001 FSM, Stock Piston skirt is 4.0104"-4.011" Allowable finish hone on stock bore is 4.0165 +/- .008 so bore can be 4.0157"-4.0173"

Gives a min of .0047" sidewall, max. of -0069"
