Hi, Noticed a guy down the road is parting out his 2001 Dodge ram dually (No bed). 5sp. 354 gears. 130,000 miles. Fire under hood. QUESTION: I have an 01.5 2500 automatic--will any of his pieces transfer to my truck? ((VP?)) Just looking to have some cheap parts on hand in case I need them... If other's are interested, I might be able to get his ph nr.

 

It would be safe to say that if the under hood fire was severe enough to write the truck off, the VP would also be a write off! But yes, most any part on his truck should work on yours.
