p0237 caused by blue chip FMS?

A few days ago, my check engine light came on when I started my truck. I checked the codes and found a p1693. I drove about 4 miles home, and 4 miles back to work with no noticeable symptoms. That evening, on my way home, in the last mile or so, the engine didn’t want to accelerate above 30 mph or so. It did it again the next day, so I pulled the codes again and got the p1693, p0237, and p0236. I tried cleaning the MAP and IAT sensors, but that didn’t solve it. At first it took a few miles to act up, but last night I unhooked my EZ, and started having the acceleration problem within the first mile. I went home and unhooked the FMS also, and that may have solved the problem. Now I’m not sure if it’s still a little sluggish or if I’m just not used to driving it without the electronics. With the FMS unhooked, it’s display constantly shows low MAP voltage, which makes me wonder why it didn’t show that in the first place. I’m going to try cleaning the connections tonight and see if that helps. Does all this sound like it’s the FMS causing the problem, or a bad map sensor?

I have the same problem on my 99 kinda. Cel is on every other day with the 0237 code. I dont have any abnormal driving conditions tho. I just clear it here and there when im at my friends shop, and dont worry about it. O btw I have the edge comp. As long as it still runs strong i dont really care unless its an easy fix like the sensor is shot.
