obviously truck won't crank. also P1689 code. drove fine yesterday lost prime overnite. new VP44 new ecm. if one of those isn't bad is this a wiring issue.

OK, the losing prime over night does has nothing to do with P0215.
Is this the same truck that loses prime while driving?
And does it "not crank" or does it "crank but not fire" ?
And now a link to the checklist for P0215

no fuel moving through pump to engine. and yes same truck the thing just refuses to fix. i did clear the codes and they came back up. the P0215 does in some way as the truck lost prime last night and this mourning it coded plus the no come code. Some way shape or form they are connected. how for the life of me i don't know. nothing this truck is doing makes any sense. everything i have done/had done should have fixed the thing.
also the relay is new and tested but i am about to retest for diligence's sake. now personally i think the wiring harness is not working correctly or the pump is off.

Did you do all the tests in the link?
Especially those concerning the wiring?
Naturally you may have killed the pump driving with aerated diesel. If the injection pump has to compress some gas (air or exhaust) that's bubbling around in the fuel it gets extremely hot.
To verify if the pump is good I'd do the hotwire test.
If you didn't already check the injectors- please do so. Do also check the banjo fitting on the rear of the head, if that's not tight you get the prime problems you described.

found problem at number 3 and your gunna love the reason for it. the dealership sheared the bolt off that holds the connector to the ecm allowing it to vibrate move and damage the connector. and after much back and forth over fault (yah some how i over torqued and sheared off the bolt i never touched) they finally admit the tech couldn't get the bolt to tighten and never inspected it to see why. so naturally they just send it out.
