open type element filter in the trans
I was reading posts about Band Adjust and some one said to use a open type element filter. My trans in due for a service and I was wondering about that filter, does it help and where to you get one, what would be the part number.
I have never done a trans service myself due to fact that the truck just came off warranty and the dealers allways did it. And what does Geno's Garage mean if(CAUTION: If Adapter C-3705 (from SPX Miller) is needed to reach the adjusting screw, tighten the screw to only 47-50 in. lbs. torque.) And what would be the best trans oil and would i have to flush all of the old stuff out and how would i do that if needed. I think thats it.
2003 qcab sbox 2wd, full gauges, no cat, 116k, paid for
still thinking new 07 6.7 ctd mega.
