oops!
I decided to put 5th gear back on, myself, husband TDY. . and while I was at it, noticed a leaky transfer case. W/O thinking, split it open 1/2" or so and resealed it. Once everything is now reconnected all moves smoothly when cranked by hand, but once engine was started. . .it won't go into gear, just makes snapping/popping sounds. Can't get it into 2H. . .seems to go into 4H (light even comes on) but feels like park brake is on (it's not). Did I screw something up in t-case?? I might have accidentally switched the black/red vac lines at the plug. Does anybody know how they should go? White and green are still in the right holes.
