One of many Tc lockup ?'s

I have researched this topic somewhat but still cant seem to find what im after. My 99' while accelerating will shift up into Od just fine, sometimes it goes into lockup ok, other times it will just stay unlocked---the only way to get it to go in is to just let off the accelerator and then go again, then it always goes right in. I was thinking something with the APPS, Maybe a Reset would help????

You can try the reset. With my rebuilt trans., Mine wouldn't go into lock up at all. The computer was in lock up, but the trans wouldn't lock up. It was the VB. I replaced that, and it was fine.
Did it just start to do it? or did you change something?

It has done this since I got it back in December. Sometimes it goes in just like it should.

I mean when I bought it back in December. Sorry for the confusion. Which BTW--completely off the subject, the salesman also made it a big point to me that it had the "New" intank lift pump, which at the time I hadnt had any idea about the longevity of. Anywho, it has about 13000 miles on it and seems to be ok, althou i dont have a FP gauge but it wont be long until the new Juice is in.
