Got my truck 6 months ago and it was having a little trouble starting after it warmed up so I put in two new battery's and it was a lot better tell a couple days ago it would not start after driving it for awhile. After setting for a while it will start right up?
This is the codes I'm getting:
P-1689
P-1693
And mapp sensor volts to high.



2000 dodge ram 2500
24valve turbo diesel.

 

1689 is a communication fail between the VP and the ECU, so when 1689 is active, the truck won't start.

Since yous wont start when hot, I would suspect either an internal issue at the VP44 or a connector issue.
